Abstract
Anomalous origin of the coronary arteries from the main pulmonary artery is a rare congenital malformation. While this anomaly rarely produces cardiac symptoms, the more frequently encountered anomalous left coronary artery arising from the main pulmonary artery is poorly tolerated, the majority of patients dying in infancy. This report describes a symptomatic sixty-yearold man with anomalous posterior descending coronary artery arising from the pulmonary trunk and details the angiographic findings.
