Assessment of myocardial metabolism with 11C-palmitate. Comparison with 123I-heptadecanoic acid

R. A. LERCH and S. R. BERGMANN

Abstract

Figure 1 on page 23 is displayed upside-down: Consequently the tomographic images obtained before coronary thrombolysis appear on the right hand side, with the upper most cranial cross-section at the bottom right. The arrow points to the 11C-palmitate uptake defect in the anterior wall. The images displayed on the left hand side represent the corresponding cross-sections after thrombolysis. The defect in the anterior wall (bottom segment of each left ventricular cross-section) is substantially smaller as compared to the pretreatment images.
